What do I do first?

1. The first thing you need to do is to email me on the CONTACT page, to find out whether the day and date of your wedding is available. You can also check my calendar on the Contact page to see if your date is free.

2. Next step? Make a no-obligation appointment for us to meet. I can come to you (depending on distance), or we can meet at a place convenient to both of us...such as a cafe etc.

If you like me and I like you lol we can then fill in the Notice of Intention to Marry at this meeting or you can take some time to think about it.

3. To fill in the NOIM you will need:

Birth Certificates or Passports. If you were born overseas then an overseas Passport is acceptable as long as it has not been cancelled. An Australian Passport is also acceptable if you don't have your Birth Certificate.

Form of identity - Drivers license or photo id. If you are using your Passport that also serves as your photo ID.

If either of you have been divorced or widowed you will need to provide proof that the marriage has ended or the other party is deceased.

NOIM (Notice of Intention to Marry) - If you live in another State and you plan to come to Tasmania to get married, be assured that I have officiated for a number of weddings with couples in this situation. We can do everything by email/post and all requirements can be completed despite the distance. I often don't get to meet the couple until their wedding day! Please contact me for more information or to ask questions.. If you send an inquiry you can be assured I will get back to you within 24 hours. EASY, SIMPLE, STRESS-FREE.

Celebrants can now accept digital images of Birth Certificates, Passports and any other certificates.

How much do you charge?

Wedding ceremonies - Whether you want a simple but romantic ceremony or the FULL Wedding Ceremony with all the trimmings I give the same professional attention to all. Please contact me see Contact Page and I will send you my Wedding Package (No Obligation). Please note whatever you choose, Registry-Office Style, Small Intimate Wedding or one with all the trimmings the legal process is exactly the same.

Fee: $670 (Full Wedding Ceremony with all the trimmings). I do not charge for travel to NW Coast between and including Stanley and Launceston but do for some remote locations. Contact me if you have one in mind. I also do Registry Style ceremonies at my home, your home or a private garden for couples who don't want the big wedding thing for a special Fee. A non-refundable Deposit of $200 (included in the total fee) will be required to secure your date. This is to secure your booking. The balance of fees can be paid at any time as long as it is no later than the due date on the Invoice.

Full Wedding Ceremony - $670

Registry style weddings - $600 (minimum guests 8 including couple & witnesses. I can provide Witnesses if you are unable to.

Renewal of Vows - $500.

Elopements - Depends on location & requirements.

*Baby Naming - $600

*Certificates are professionally created and printed at a local Printing Business on high quality paper. One is included in the price - extra certificates are $5 each.

Payment options: Direct Deposit. Bank details are at the bottom of the Invoice, Cash or Bank Cheque.
